EVENT TECHnICIAN

 

Studio Gear is a premier provider for audio, video, lighting and event production services, serving clientele both locally and nationwide. Event technicians play a crucial role, as they are responsible for the setup, tear-down, and operation of all of the audio, video, and lighting equipment on job sites. In addition, they work with clients to ensure all production goals are communicated and accomplished throughout the duration of all of our events.

  • Willingness to travel across the state, and perhaps the country


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred, but not required

  • Experience in theatrical and event production


Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds and occasionally move more than one hundred pounds of equipment. Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical is a must.


Compensation:

  • Generous hourly rate with overtime

  • 40 hours per week guaranteed

  • Company-provided laptop, mobile phone, PPE, and tool kit
